Rob King
Executive Vice President, Operations (Data Management, Biostatistics, Project Programming and Quality Control)
Mr. King joined Novella Clinical (formerly PharmaLinkFHI) as Executive Vice President, Operations in January 2006. Prior to joining Novella Clinical, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Health Decisions, a full-service international CRO, managing both the US and European operations.
While at Health Decisions, Mr. King held a variety of executive positions over the past ten years with the last five years in the role of COO. During his tenure as COO, Health Decisions maintained strong profitability every year, held no debt, increased its staff by >200% percent, and maintained a trend of increasing revenues.
Prior to joining Health Decisions, Mr. King spent 5 years at ClinTrials Research in a number of regulatory and quality assurance positions and 4 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wilmington in various research roles.
He holds a BA degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Mr. King serves as faculty and advisory board member at several local universities.
